Project Description
Construction of the new expansion included the following items:
Concrete slab on grade | Complete with piling, excavation, backfill, concrete, rebar, and rigid insulation.
Masonry walls | Complete exterior masonry walls with required rigid insulation, and interior metal liner finish.
Roof assembly | Complete roof assembly with joists, metal deck, and modified bitumen roof.
Mechanical | Complete drainage, heating, cooling, and ventilation.
Electrical | Complete lighting, power, and fire alarm extension.
Doors | Complete supply and installation of overhead sectional doors and exterior doors.
Renovations | Lunchroom wall to be moved east to expand corridor to the new expansion. All millwork will be removed and reinstalled. Removal of interior doors and expansion of doorways. Temporary Receiving opening.
Repair of exterior asphalt around new expansion
Design and Engineering of the new expansion included the following items:
Review of existing building and review of integration of expansion with current operation.
Completion of Issued for Construction Engineering Drawings for Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
Regular site visits and provided documentation indicating satisfactory work and conformance to the engineering drawings.
Review and revisions to engineering drawings as site conditions became visible.
