Beaufield Resources Inc
Quebec, Canada
Conduct a rapid Preliminary Economic Assessment of the re-opening of the Balmat Zinc Mine in New York, USA. The work involved developing Capital and Operating Costs, Stoping strategy, reviewing the current data and producing data for a cash flow analysis
Rubicon Minerals Corp
Ontario, Canada
Oversee the Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Phoenix Gold Project. This involved major infrastructure development costs, mill and paste plant designs, and the mine design. All aspects for the completion of the PEA was included in this process
Alexis Minerals Corp.
Manitoba, Canada
Project was to conduct a preliminary assessment (PA) of the Snow Lake Mine (SLM) property (formerly the New Britannia Mine), based primarily upon three NI 43-101 Technical Reports prepared by Micon International Limited (Micon) (Micon, 2006; Micon, 2008, and Micon, 2009). The full mine design, metallurgy, social aspects, rock mechanics and economic analysis was completed.
Vale Inco Thompson
Manitoba, Canada
Project involved the mine design of the Birchtree 84 Deep and the Birchtree 85 Orebody. All aspects of mining were considered and the level of study was at preliminary assessment to feasibility. At the end of the exercise, the team chose one mining method for each area and the technical direction to achieve the required tonnage.
Vale Inco Thompson
Manitoba, Canada
Project involved the mine design of the 1-D Upper area, the South Extension 1-D, the 1-D Deep, the North Deep and ancillary areas of the Thompson 1-D Mine. All aspects of mining were considered and the level of study was at preliminary assessment to feasibility. At the end of the exercise, the team chose one mining method for each area and the technical direction to achieve the required tonnage.
PMI Gold Corporation Kubi Project
Ashanti District, Ghana
Project involved the preliminary assessment of an underground gold mine near the Ashanti District in Central Ghana. The entire feasibility was managed from reserve estimation through tailing disposal and included an environmental review. Our success with the project led us to be sole –sourced for the detailed design and construction of the mine.
Hibbing Taconite Transportation Study
Minnesota, USA
This Cleveland Cliffs subsidiary requested an update to a project on a 13 mile distance between the iron ore pit and the processing plant. It involved reviewing what was done and what technical direction could be the best solution.
UEX West Bear Project
Saskatchewan, Canada
The uranium market has made very small deposits attractive to exploit and this project showed the great potential even with amine life measured in months. Using appropriate technology, the team put a mine plan together that maximized the recovery and minimized the impact to the environment. This made the project much more saleable.
Denison Mines Limited
Arizona, USA
The Arizona 1 project was designed as a 6-700 tpd operation that would operate through a very small shaft. The design team explored various options and recommended a small trackless solution for this style of ore body. The major influence on this decision was regulatory demands of lower noise thresholds

Golden Pocket Resources
